Unit-specific policies are created when there is a need to further constrain or implement existing policies or laws or create guidance for a single Division or Unit.
Where UC policies or laws intersect or overlap with unit-specfic policies, text is referenced rather than repeated in the Policy to ensure continued alignment.
Unit-specific policies should be updated regularly to ensure the information remains current, useful, and in alignment with relevant laws.
Unit-specific policies are developed in accordance with the Division’s standards and outside the purview of the Policy Coordination Office.
